Training and Experience
Ever since I was 5 years old, and my grammar school librarian read aloud Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle — about the likeable neighbor who doled out hilarious yet effective ways of dealing with typical childhood behavioral mishaps — I have been fascinated by human behavior and the ways in which individuals can overcome the difficulties in their lives. As such, I have studied human behavior for most of my life, having earned two master’s degrees and a Ph.D., with a 4.0 in all three graduate degrees.
Considering the time, effort, and resources that people invest in therapy to overcome their setbacks and move forward with their lives, I believe that therapists should be open and transparent about their training, experience, and credentials. Hence, here is a summary of mine.
